I don't know what it is, but I've seen so many objectively BAD artists on deviantArt with an insane amount of watchers, pageviews, comments, favorites, whatever. Can someone please tell my why these people or how these people get so popular? I mean, they HAVE to be cheating in some way. They have to be making additional accounts, paying off people, sucking up, or something like that. That is, in my mind, the only real explanation as to why someone who is bad at art would be so prominent in an environment entirely dedicated to excellent artists. My life fucking sucks. Because some weird new filter called 'OpenDNS' has somehow tucked itself into the crevices of my hardrive and has been fucking me left and right with weird puritan filtering, I can't search ANYTHING on deviantart or even go into a category because all are blocked for "nudity and photosharing." So, basically, I'm marooned on this little island that's my home page and there's really nothing exciting going on here except for arbitrary submissions that can't get submitted to groups because I can't join new groups BECAUSE I CANT SEARCH THEM AND I DONT REALLY DRAW HOMESTUCK MUCH ANYMORE.
